Sponsorship Opportunities
There are many people in Plaisance and the Duvivier community who could use your help. This page updated on January 14, 2010.
Medical help | Education sponsorship | Orphanage sponsorship
Monsieur Mereus Julien
Monsieur Julien, who lives in Plaisance, is suffering from an eye disease, causing his tumor on one eye to now spread to the other. He was rebuilding his house when he was stricken with the disease and was unable to finish his roof. His relatives were able to take him in to care for him however, we are seeking a sponsor to help him reach a hospital in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
He has been brought to Cap Haitien Hospital, where doctors explained they cannot do anything for him. At the Cap Haitien Hospital, there is no equipment or facilities for such a complex surgery, and the American doctor who visits twice a year had already departed.

If you are able to help Monsieur Julien obtain medical help for his condition, please contact the Duvivier Project via Amos Myrtil.
