Statement of Purpose
The Duvivier Haiti Project is a community-based organization that aims to provide long-term relief and opportunity to local people by creating jobs, rebuilding the environment, and sustaining goals at the community farm. The project supports local residents with immediate nutritional needs and tools to help the community combat hunger, poverty, and become more economically self-sufficient. Long-term plans include starting and sustaining a farm and agricultural education program in this region in northern Haiti. We've already begun...
Through sponsorship we seek to link people in the Duvivier with others in the global village so that those in Duvivier can live better lives and have an improved chance of building for future generations.
